Job Description

We're building something meaningful — and we want you to help shape it. QWERTY Education Services is expanding its psychoeducational assessment practice in Menlo Park and looking for a skilled LEP (with a neuropsychologist certification or orientation) who wants to grow a caseload on their own terms, backed by an established team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and adolescents (ages 6-22) with learning differences. This role involves conducting assessments, developing accommodation plans, delivering comprehensive psychoeducational reports, and caseload development. We offer both W-2 and 1099 arrangements, determined collaboratively based on your engagement structure and California law. Compensation differs accordingly (see below). What to Expect You will work collaboratively with the Center Director to build testing case volume as part of, and with the help of, a larger education services practice. This role is intentionally designed to start part-time, making it an excellent fit for someone currently in a school district position, running an independent practice, or seeking to transition gradually into private-sector assessment work (we are turning our attention to building this arm of the practice with you in a way that has not previously been possible), and build to a volume that meets your professional goals. The Educational Psychologist will collaborate with learning specialists, families, and other mental healthcare providers to support clients' educational, emotional, and behavioral well-being in both public and private schools. Schedule and Support Your schedule will ultimately be determined by the demand for your services and desire to meet it, with flexibility varying as demand grows. You will typically be expected to complete testing and the services associated with it within six weeks. We believe this standard will give us a competitive advantage over existing service providers in the geographic area and facilitate the growth of this service. QWERTY is committed to providing a library of the most up-to-date testing instruments and enhancements for your use. The acquisition of said tools depends on both urgency and financial feasibility. We are a collaborative, client-centered team of education specialists. You will have dedicated administrative support, access to an established client referral network, and a collegial environment where peer consultation is encouraged. Mission Ethical Standards The candidate will possess a commitment to ethical practice standards and ongoing professional development. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on individuals' lives through comprehensive education advice while working within a collaborative team environment dedicated to excellence in service delivery.
