$35 to $50 per hour, plus overtime Job Overview Our client, a growing commercial and industrial solar company, is looking to bring on an experienced Licensed Electrician to support a number of solar farm projects in southwestern Vermont. This role is a full-time position with our client. Job Responsibilities Travelling to utility-scale project sites in southwestern Vermont. Planning and installing underground and above-ground electrical runs, trenching layouts, combiner boxes, and heavy feeder cables. Installing, terminating, and wiring central inverters and utility-scale string inverters. Wiring and integrating solar tracker systems and motor controllers. Assisting with Medium Voltage (MV) terminations and transformer connections. Testing, meggering, and commissioning DC and AC systems. Ensuring all OSHA, NEC, and heavy civil safety standards are strictly met and adhered to in outdoor environments.

Successful Candidates Must Have:

A valid electrical license from the state of Vermont At least 5 years of electrical experience, with a minimum of 2-3 years specifically on utility-scale or large ground mount solar projects. Strong experience with 1000V / 1500V DC systems and familiarity with Medium Voltage (MV) AC equipment. Experience with heavy cable pulling, underground conduit installation (PVC/re-route), and DC collection systems. Familiarity with utility grid interconnections and substation/switchgear safety. Willingness to travel 100% of the time and work in outdoor, variable weather conditions. Communication, collaboration, and detail-orientation skills. A valid driver's license.
