The Esthetician role:

An integral member of Color Box, the Esthetician position performs a variety of treatments according to established Color Box protocols. We are looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing experienced licensed aesthetician who will take the initiative to grow the wellness area of the business and enhance their professional growth. The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years' experience. The best candidate will be retail-minded, possess strong communication skills and have a positive attitude. We require a good work ethic and to be polished and professional in both demeanor and dress. You will be responsible for promoting products and services, working to continually build schedules, and will continually grow in knowledge and skill through seminars, continuing education, and any learning opportunities. The ideal candidate to apply:

Self-motivation and able to work independently and as a team

Perform:

facials, peels, Microneedling, Waxing, Brow Treatments plus.. Sterilize, clean, and maintain equipment according to state regulations Educate, recommend, and prepare skin care regimens for clients Organize, prepare and promote beauty events Attend outside events to market and promote services and business Maintain licensing and continuing education Utilize time management to work within scheduled times

Requirements:

A minimum of 2+ year's experience as an Aesthetician. Must take initiative to promote self and products and build and retain clientele. Knowledge of various skin care treatments. Adapt in designing specific treatments based on the client's individual needs. Create a pleasant experience for clients through a friendly and helpful attitude. Recognized esthetician qualification and Michigan license with previous experience in a luxury spa environment Excellent understanding of client care and five-star treatment standards Genuine interest in holistic spa treatments Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills High level of attention to detail Strong organizational skills, solid computer skills and a hospitality spirit Experience with body treatments listed below is preferred but not essential: • Body exfoliation • Therapeutic Body Massage Treatments Experience with equipment listed below is preferred but not essential: Microneedling, Microneedling with RF Cryo body & face Plasma Pen MD Cool Jet Plasma Just some of the benefits Color Box employees enjoy: Competitive package which includes spa commission, and salary Excellent Training and Career Development opportunities Holiday entitlement increases with years of service.
