Established, locally owned home inspection company is seeking an experienced licensed home inspector to join our team. We provide consistent inspection volume, strong office support, and efficient systems so you can focus on inspections and client service. Inspectors typically perform 5 inspections per week (part-time) up to 10 inspections per week (full-time) Same-day reports , with approximately 85% completed onsite Experienced inspectors typically reach full schedules within 4-6 weeks This role is ideal for inspectors seeking steady work, strong earning potential, and the ability to grow without franchise fees or restrictions.

Job Description:

A licensed home inspector conducts thorough, non-diagnostic inspections of residential properties in accordance with South Carolina Standards of Practice. This includes a non-invasive, visual examination of accessible areas to identify material defects in systems and components.

Key Responsibilities:

Travel to inspection sites within your designated service area Perform inspections in accordance with South Carolina Standards of Practice and company protocols Communicate clearly with clients and real estate professionals during inspections Prepare and deliver accurate, detailed reports in a timely manner Provide post-inspection support and answer client questions Coordinate scheduling with office staff Participate in occasional networking events (e.g., BNI, industry functions) to support company relationships Attend meetings and ongoing training as needed

Physical Requirements:

Access confined spaces, climb ladders, and walk on roofs. Lift and carry equipment (up to 50 lbs.), stand for extended periods, and crawl/squat as needed. Work in various weather conditions, including hot, humid, and cold environments.

Qualifications:

Required:

Active South Carolina Home Inspector License. Valid driver's license. High School diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills (Bilingual is a plus). Proficiency in using inspection and communication software. Ability to operate necessary tools for conducting inspections. Customer-focused with a calm demeanor. Strong time-management skills and attention to detail. Ability to work well in a team environment.

Bonus Qualifications:

Residential Builder's License. ICC Certifications. Experience in related trades.
