Licensed Journeyman Plumber

Overview We are seeking a licensed Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. This vital role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial, residential, and municipal projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in construction plumbing, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment on construction sites. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts. Perform pipe threading, fitting, and assembly for both commercial and residential applications. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems, identify issues, and implement effective solutions. Assist with remodeling projects by integrating plumbing components seamlessly into existing structures. Operate heavy lifting equipment safely to handle large pipes or fixtures during installation. Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and compliance with safety protocols. Collaborate with project managers, HVAC technicians, carpenters, and other trades to ensure project timelines are met. Support field service operations by troubleshooting plumbing problems on-site efficiently. Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of hazardous materials. Experience Valid Journeyman Plumbing license for Montana or Idaho with 3 years experience in plumbing environments. Extensive hands-on experience with plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance on commercial or residential sites. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to plumbing systems. Knowledge of welding techniques relevant to pipe joining and system integrity. Familiarity with HVAC systems as they relate to plumbing integration is advantageous. Experience operating hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and other construction equipment. Ability to perform basic math calculations necessary for measurements and material estimations. Prior work involving remodeling projects or handyman tasks is a plus. Demonstrated capability in heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for construction work.
