Licensed Journeyman Plumber

Looking for an experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our team. We are in the beautiful San Juan Islands off the coast of Washington State on Orcas Island. JOB DESCRIPTION

Installs, maintains and repairs pipes and fixtures associated with heating, water distribution and sanitation systems in residential and commercial structures. Inspect drainage and other plumbing systems for compliance with local and national regulations. Must be reliable, trustworthy and have great customer relation skills. DUTIES

• Interprets blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems and other plumbing materials.
• Installs pipes and fixtures, such as sinks and toilets, for water, gas, steam, air, or other liquids.
• Plan and complete all necessary steps in the installation, maintenance, repair and servicing in water and drain systems.
• Collaborates with contractors, construction workers, electricians, in installing and repairing plumbing.
• Troubleshoot instances of system malfunctions, interruptions and failures.
• Performs repairs and installations to meet the manufacturer's recommendations, local codes and customer's expectations.
• Startup installed equipment and adjust to the manufacturers and job specification.
• Adhere to the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Ensure complete customer satisfaction from start to finish of project.
• Use hand tools i.e. hand saws, pipe cutters, screwdrivers, wrenches, measuring tapes, shovels, levelling devices etc.
• Use of power tools, i.e. electric/battery drills, power saws, angle grinders, laser and levelling devices.
• Drive vehicles and operate machinery.
• Follow written and verbal instructions in workplace.
• Other duties as assigned.

You must have a plumbing card through the state of Washington and a valid drivers license. We are an
