Licensed Massage Therapist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team at our Idaho Falls AND/OR Rexburg locations. As a Massage Therapist, you will provide therapeutic massage treatments to clients to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. Your expertise in various massage techniques and your ability to assess client needs will be essential in delivering exceptional patient service.

Responsibilities:

• Perform patient assessments to determine appropriate massage techniques and treatment plans
• Administer various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and Swedish massage
• Provide pain management and acute pain relief through targeted massage therapy
• Educate patients on self-care techniques and exercises to enhance treatment outcomes
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Adhere to all occupational health and safety guidelines during treatments
• Continuously expand your knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and massage therapy techniques

Skills:

• Proficiency in trigger point therapy, pain management, and deep tissue massage
• Strong patient assessment skills to determine appropriate treatment plans
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction
• Knowledge of occupational health guidelines to ensure a safe treatment environment
• Ability to perform physical examinations as needed for treatment planning
• Familiarity with medical terminology related to musculoskeletal conditions
• Understanding of anatomy and how it relates to massage therapy

Qualifications:

• Valid Massage Therapist license or certification in the state of Idaho
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Massage Therapist (new graduates with willingness to learn will be considered) We will train you to be the best.
