Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address clients' specific needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals. Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to develop effective treatment plans aligned with each client's condition. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for pain management and occupational health concerns. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient progress, and any relevant medical information in compliance with regulatory standards. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and facility policies. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or medical staff when necessary to optimize patient care. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification. Proven experience in patient service, customer service, and patient assessment within a medical or med spa setting. Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques. Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Excellent communication skills to effectively educate clients and understand their needs. Prior experience in occupational health or med spa environments is highly desirable.
