Duties Provide customized massage therapy sessions including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities to address specific client concerns Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health histories, preferences, and treatment goals Educate clients on self-care techniques and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing pain management and relaxation Maintain detailed treatment records, documenting procedures, client responses, and progress notes in compliance with medical standards Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and professional standards at all times Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans when necessary Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and relevant medical terminology to continually enhance your skills Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification to practice professionally Proven experience in patient service, demonstrating excellent communication and customer service skills Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and occupational health practices preferred Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and tailor treatments accordingly Familiarity with med spa environments or similar settings is a plus Commitment to maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and high standards of hygiene at all times Embark on a rewarding career where your skills directly contribute to improving clients' quality of life.
