Educate clients on treatment plans, post-session care, and self-care strategies to optimize results. Maintain accurate documentation of each session, including treatment details and client progress notes. Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and maintaining equipment standards. Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management. Skills Proven experience in patient service with excellent customer service skills that create a welcoming atmosphere. Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to tailor treatments effectively. Ability to perform various massage modalities such as Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage techniques. Skilled in patient assessment to identify areas of tension or injury requiring targeted therapy. Familiarity with medical terminology related to musculoskeletal conditions and occupational health issues. CPR certification and knowledge of safety procedures to ensure client safety during sessions. Effective client communication skills for explaining treatment options and addressing concerns professionally. Experience working in med spa settings or similar environments is a plus for understanding client expectations in aesthetic or wellness contexts.
