In this role, you will offer psychotherapy, support patients through emotional and behavioral challenges, and help them build effective coping skills. Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a commitment to providing patient-centered care. In this role, you will play a key part in helping patients navigate their mental health journey by offering individual and group counseling, creating tailored treatment plans, and working closely with our multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities Provide Individual Counseling Develop and Implement Treatment Plans Create individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals. Conduct patient screenings, biopsychosocial assessments, and reassessments within designated timeframes. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Documentation and Compliance:
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record system. Ensure all patient files meet organizational and insurance compliance standards.
Patient Education and Support:
Educate patients about their treatment options and corresponding health issues. Collaborate with patients and other providers to complete intake and coordinate treatment plans. Identify and address clinical or case management needs.
Communication and Reporting:
Maintain open and professional communication with clinic leadership and support staff. Report any cases of patient abuse, grievances, neglect, or exploitation in accordance with state requirements.
Professional Development and Compliance:
Maintain active licensure and/or certifications in line with state and program requirements. Participate in staff meetings and treatment team discussions. Stay up-to-date with the latest treatment protocols and best practices.
Ketamine and Spravato-Assisted Therapy:
Receive specialized training in Ketamine and Spravato-assisted therapy. Integrate this knowledge into patient care and treatment plans.
Additional Duties:
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Clinical Director or leadership team. Uphold the values and standards of the organization at all times. Qualifications Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent. We will consider other licenses or interns. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling or a related field. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation. Strong understanding of mental health diagnoses, treatment modalities, and evidence-based practices. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
