Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated team in our Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) clinic. As a Dosing Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing safe, respectful, and high-quality care to patients receiving medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer daily methadone, buprenorphine (Suboxone/Subutex), or other prescribed MAT medications in accordance with clinic protocols and physician orders Conduct patient assessments prior to dosing (vitals, withdrawal symptoms, etc.) Observe and document patient responses to medication Maintain accurate records of controlled substances and medication administration per federal, state, and DEA regulations Provide patient education on medication, safety, and recovery support Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team (physicians, counselors, pharmacists) to support comprehensive patient care Adhere to strict confidentiality, infection control, and safety standards
Qualifications:
Current, unrestricted LPN license Valid CPR/BLS certification Previous experience in addiction medicine, OTP, MAT, psychiatric nursing, or similar setting is strongly preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance Excellent interpersonal skills with a non-judgmental, patient-centered approach Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced clinic environment Must pass background check and drug screening This is an excellent opportunity for an LPN who wants to make a real difference in the lives of individuals recovering from substance use disorder.
