Duration:

9 weeks Guaranteed hours: 40hrs/week Pay rate: $37/hr.

Gross weekly:

$1480/week Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health history documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner. Administer medications and injections accurately following prescribed protocols, including IV infusions and medication management for acute pain or chronic conditions. Assist with medical procedures such as catheterization, wound suturing, tube feeding, and sterile specimen collection while maintaining aseptic techniques. Monitor patients' physiological responses during treatments like ventilator management, cardiac catheterization, or spinal taps; escalate concerns promptly to the healthcare team. Collaborate with physicians and specialists in specialties such as geriatrics, pediatrics, emergency medicine, or behavioral health to develop and implement individualized care plans. Document all patient interactions thoroughly in medical records ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and ICD coding standards like ICD-10 or ICD-9. Provide education and health coaching to patients and their families on disease management, medication administration, dementia care (including Alzheimer's and memory care), and post-discharge instructions.
