Maintain detailed medical documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist with complex medical procedures like wound suturing, while adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control standards. Support discharge planning and case management efforts by coordinating post-acute care services and educating patients on medication regimens and health coaching strategies. Valid licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in accordance with state regulations. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Experience administering injections. Ability to perform phlebotomy and specimen collection/processing efficiently and safely. Excellent patient assessment skills combined with compassionate communication tailored to individuals of all ages Ability to multitask Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards along with infection control practices essential for maintaining patient confidentiality and safety.
