You will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care. How you'll contribute A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who excels in this role: Contributes to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis by an RN. Performs plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care; may administer medication. Documents patient care provided. Assists RN with development of plan of care. Assists patients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Monitors, documents, and communicates patient status and responses to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and family. Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. Participates in performance improvement and continuing education. Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts/units as needed. Maintains regular and reliable attendance. Performs other duties as assigned. What we're looking for Applicants should have a current state LPN license.Additional requirements include:
Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
