Category Schools - LPN Nurse Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as a 1:1 school nurse in a vibrant educational setting near Pembroke, MA. This role is designed for a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) who thrives in a supportive environment and values making a meaningful impact each day. Desired Qualifications:
Active and unencumbered LPN/LVN license in Massachusetts Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly desirable Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and healthcare providers Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct, individualized care to an assigned student throughout the school day Monitor and respond promptly to the student's health needs, including medication administration and emergency responses Track and document daily observations and health interventions accurately Participate in meetings with school staff to review the student's care plan and progress Educate and support the student in managing their health needs at school Uphold all medical protocols, privacy standards, and regulatory policies
