Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant team as a Life Enrichment Coordinator and become a vital catalyst for enhancing the quality of life for our residents. In this dynamic role, you will design, implement, and oversee engaging activities that promote socialization, mental stimulation, and overall well-being. Your enthusiasm and creativity will inspire residents to enjoy meaningful experiences every day, fostering a warm, lively community environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact while utilizing your skills in senior care and activity planning. Duties Develop and coordinate diverse recreational programs tailored to residents' interests, abilities, and health needs, including memory care and dementia-specific activities Plan and execute engaging events such as arts and crafts, music therapy sessions, outings, and social gatherings that encourage participation and foster community spirit Collaborate with nursing staff to integrate therapeutic activities that support residents' cognitive and emotional health Assist residents with daily activities (ADLs) such as mobility, dressing, or personal care when needed to promote independence and dignity Manage activity schedules efficiently to ensure a balanced calendar of events that accommodate individual preferences and safety protocols Provide counseling and support related to aging issues, dementia care strategies, and community engagement opportunities Maintain detailed records of resident participation, progress notes, and activity feedback to continually improve program offerings Requirements Proven experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or long-term care environments with a focus on senior or memory care populations Strong background in event planning, recreational therapy, or social work within eldercare settings Knowledge of Alzheimer's disease, dementia care techniques, and working with individuals with disabilities or cognitive impairments Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with residents, families, and staff while fostering a positive atmosphere Ability to assist residents with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) in a compassionate manner that respects their independence Skilled in schedule management to organize multiple activities seamlessly throughout each day Experience in caregiving roles involving home & community care or long-term care environments is highly desirable Compassionate approach to counseling on aging issues and supporting mental health needs of seniors Embark on a rewarding career dedicated to enriching lives through engaging activities and heartfelt support. Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
