Life Enrichment Coordinator

Duties Plan, coordinate, and lead a variety of engaging recreational activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities, including arts and crafts, music therapy, games, and outings. Foster a warm, inclusive environment that encourages social interaction and emotional well-being among residents. Collaborate with nursing staff and caregivers to assess individual needs related to Alzheimer's care, dementia care, and assisted living requirements. Manage activity schedules efficiently to ensure a balanced mix of entertainment, therapy sessions, and community events. Maintain detailed records of activities conducted, resident participation, and progress to ensure personalized care plans are up-to-date. Skills Proven experience in event planning with the ability to organize diverse activities that appeal to seniors and individuals with disabilities. Background in assisted living or long-term care environments a plus but not required. Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, memory care strategies, dementia care practices, and recreational therapy techniques. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with residents, families, staff, and external partners. Ability to assist residents with ADLs while maintaining dignity and respect for their independence. Skilled in schedule management to coordinate multiple activities seamlessly throughout each day. Compassionate approach with experience in caregiving roles focused on senior care or working with individuals facing cognitive challenges.
