Bethesda Life Enrichment Lead Sunrise Village Life Enrichment Lead Bethesda Bring Joy, Purpose, and Connection Every Day Join a mission-driven team dedicated to enriching the lives of residents through meaningful, engaging experiences. As a Life Enrichment Lead, you'll create programs that support independence, connection, and overall well-being in a warm, home-like environment. The Life Enrichment Lead is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing engaging daily activities that enhance the quality of life for residents. This role includes creating and maintaining a monthly activity calendar, leading and facilitating activities on a daily basis, and ensuring programs meet the social, emotional, and recreational needs of residents. The Life Enrichment Lead works to promote resident participation, foster a positive community environment, and adapt activities to accommodate varying interests and abilities.
Position Summary:
Plans and leads daily and monthly activity programs that promote residents' social, emotional, cognitive, and physical well-being. Encourages participation, adapts activities to individual abilities, and fosters a positive, engaging community.Schedule:
As scheduled (primarily daytime hours with flexibility)Key Responsibilities:
Plan and lead group and individual enrichment activities Develop monthly activity calendars and special events Provide one-on-one resident engagement and support Adapt activities for varying abilities, including dementia care Coordinate outings, transportation, and community events Maintain supplies, documentation, and program organization Enhance community environment through décor and creative initiatives Collaborate with team members to support resident well-beingQualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Experience with older adults preferred Strong communication, creativity, and organizational skills Energetic, compassionate, and resident-focused attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn and growWhy Join Us:
