We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Life Skills Teacher to join our team at Eustace Primary School. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to helping children learn and grow, with a focus on developing essential life skills that will help them navigate the world with confidence and independence.Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that covers a wide range of life skills, including but not limited to, social skills, personal hygiene, sommunication, fine motor, and safety skills. 2. Create engaging lesson plans that are age-appropriate and cater to the diverse learning needs of our students. 3. Assess students' progress regularly and provide constructive feedback. 4. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to participate actively. 5. Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders to support the overall development of the students. 6. Participate in school events and activities. 7. Stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies and incorporate them into your teaching practices.Skills:
1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 2. Strong organizational and planning skills. 3. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. 4. Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools. 5. Ability to handle classroom management effectively. 6. Patience and resilience in dealing with challenges.Certifications:
A valid teaching certification is required. Additional certifications or training in child development, special education, or related fields would be a plus.
