Eustace Independent School District, District Wide Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional Police Officer to join our team at Eustace Independent School District. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining law and order across the district, ensuring the safety and security of our students, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities:
1. Enforce laws and regulations within the school district. 2. Respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively. 3. Conduct regular patrols within the school district. 4. Investigate and report any suspicious activities or incidents. 5. Collaborate with school administrators and staff to ensure a safe learning environment. 6. Participate in community outreach programs to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents. 7. Maintain accurate records of incidents and actions taken.
Skills:
1. Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures. 2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 3. Ability to handle high-stress situations calmly and effectively. 4. Proficient in conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques. 5. Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with various stakeholders. 6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions.
Certifications:
Candidates must hold valid law enforcement certification. Additional certifications related to school safety, child protection, or related fields will be considered an advantage.
