Overview Norton Country Club is looking for Certified Lifeguards to join our team as a Lifeguards and become the essential guardians of safety and enjoyment at our swimming facility. In this dynamic role, you'll ensure a secure environment by actively monitoring pool areas, enforcing safety rules, and providing exceptional guest service. Your energetic presence will help create a fun, safe, and welcoming atmosphere for all visitors, making every swim experience memorable and secure. Duties Vigilantly monitor pool areas to prevent accidents and respond swiftly to emergencies using established rescue techniques. Enforce safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment for swimmers of all ages. Perform routine pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning pool decks, skimming water surfaces, and checking pool equipment to ensure optimal conditions. Conduct regular pool water testing and chemical balancing to uphold health standards. Assist guests with pool access, answer questions about facilities, and provide excellent guest service to enhance their experience. Carry out pool cleaning duties including skimming debris, vacuuming the pool floor, and maintaining cleanliness of surrounding areas. Respond to first aid situations with CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and basic first aid procedures when necessary, ensuring swift and effective care. Experience Prior lifeguard experience is required Lifeguard Certificate required. Certification in CPR and first aid from a recognized organization is mandatory. Knowledge of pool maintenance, cleaning procedures, and chemical handling is advantageous. Ability to swim proficiently and demonstrate comfort in water for extended periods. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks related to pool equipment or supplies as needed. Strong guest service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude that fosters positive interactions with visitors. Pay:

$16.50 - $18.00 per hour
