Light Commercial HVAC Installer/Service Technician

Job Overview ADS Mechanical LLC is seeking a skilled Light Commercial HVAC Installer/Service Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in commercial settings, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with HVAC systems, and the ability to interpret schematics and HVAC design plans. A valid driver's license is required, along with a commitment to delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair light commercial HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, and related mechanical components Read and interpret schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical manuals to ensure accurate installation and service procedures Perform maintenance tasks such as equipment repair, system cleaning, and component replacement to ensure system efficiency and longevity Utilize tools such as multimeter to diagnose issues and perform necessary repairs Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local codes Operate company vehicles safely in accordance with the company's driver requirements for field service calls Experience Proven experience as a service technician or installer in HVAC Knowledge of HVAC systems, schematics, and HVAC design principles Mechanical aptitude with skills in equipment repair, boiler maintenance, and appliance repair Field service experience working on air conditioning units, property maintenance projects, or similar mechanical systems Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to read technical diagrams and schematics is essential Valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites Requirements Trustworthy Team player Works will independently Organized Comfortable with Google/Microsoft Must live within 40 miles of the shop

Pass Union/State Drug Tests Hours:

7:00 AM -3:30 PM, Monday - Friday Occasional on-call weekend work This position offers an opportunity to work with a small company on diverse projects within the commercial HVAC industry while utilizing your technical skills in a dynamic flexible environment.
