This is a key leadership position for someone who takes pride in creating a welcoming customer experience, supporting and training baristas, maintaining high standards, and helping improve overall shop operations. This role works closely with ownership and is a vital part of keeping the shop running smoothly and efficiently.

Pay:

$15/hour including pooled tips, with current average earnings closer to $17/hour depending on tip volume.

Schedule:

Part-time:

25-30 hours per week Additional shift coverage required as needed Opening shifts starting at 7:00 AM, with some midday and evening shifts as needed Weekend availability required; Team Leads rotate one weekend shift every other weekend

Store Hours:

Monday-Friday:

7 AM-5

PM Saturday & Sunday:

8 AM-5

PM Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional customer service and build relationships with regulars Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, tea, and food items efficiently and consistently Maintain cleanliness, organization, stocking, and food safety standards Help train baristas and provide ongoing support and feedback Track inventory, assist with ordering, and shop for supplies when needed Identify ways to improve workflow, operations, and customer experience Work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

Previous coffee shop/barista experience required Strong understanding of espresso preparation and milk steaming Reliable transportation and excellent punctuality Strong attention to detail, multitasking, and leadership skills Friendly, team-oriented attitude is a must Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs Food Handler Permit required within 30 days of hire
