  • We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team in a busy fine dining restaurant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a key member of our culinary team, the Line Cook will play a critical role in maintaining our reputation for excellent food service.
  • Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes according to menu specifications and recipes
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Assist with meal preparation, plating, and presentation
  • Work efficiently in a team environment, supporting other kitchen staff as needed
  • Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies
  • Help with menu planning and development
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service
  • Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a positive attitude and being attentive to customers
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to improve skills and knowledge
  • Skills
  • Experience in the food industry, preferably in fine dining or catering
  • Proficiency in knife skills and ability to handle kitchen equipment
  • Strong understanding of food service and meal preparation
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with menu planning and development
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with food allergies and dietary restrictions
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
  • Certification in food safety or willingness to obtain within a reasonable timeframe
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and support in a high-pressure environment
  • Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods.
