Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, presentation standards, and quality specifications Assist in menu planning by providing input on ingredient selection and dish preparation techniques Handle food with care, ensuring proper food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times Use knife skills effectively for chopping, slicing, dicing, and other food preparation tasks Support food service operations by plating dishes efficiently and maintaining a clean workstation throughout shifts Contribute to catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining consistency and flavor integrity Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely delivery of meals Qualifications Previous experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable Proven kitchen experience in restaurants or the food industry, with strong culinary skills Knowledge of food handling procedures, safety regulations, and sanitation standards Familiarity with menu planning, meal preparation, and food service techniques Excellent knife skills and proficiency in food preparation methods Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Embark on a culinary journey with us where your skills will be valued, your creativity encouraged, and your career supported.
