Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace. Assist in menu planning and development, ensuring seasonal and dietary considerations are met. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control. Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper sanitation practices. Provide support to dietary aides when necessary, ensuring all dietary restrictions are accommodated. Qualifications Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred. 2 years experience prefered Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques. Knowledge of food preparation methods, ingredients, and presentation styles. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team. A passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
