The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong background in various cooking techniques. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and delivering exceptional dining experiences. Experience in fine dining, or catering is highly valued, along with excellent knife skills and menu planning abilities. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage Follow food safety protocols and sanitation procedures at all times Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods Assist with food presentation to ensure dishes are visually appealing Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management Ensure all food preparation meets customer specifications Experience Previous experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is advantageous Proven culinary experience in restaurant or fine dining settings Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety standards Experience with, meal preparation, and food service operations Skilled in knife handling, meal assembly, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness Background in the food industry with a focus on quality control and customer satisfaction Familiarity in a fast-paced environment is preferred This position offers an opportunity to work within a professional culinary environment where skill development is encouraged.
