Job Overview In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring every plate meets set standards of quality and presentation. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. Handle food with care, following proper food handling and safety protocols to maintain cleanliness and prevent cross-contamination Effective knife skills for chopping, slicing, dicing, and other food preparation tasks Support food service operations by plating dishes attractively and timely for service periods Maintain a clean and organized kitchen station, including equipment sanitation and stock rotation Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours and catering events Qualifications Proven culinary experience in a restaurant or food industry setting, demonstrating strong food preparation skills is preffered Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures Skilled in meal preparation, cooking techniques, and food presentation Familiarity with menus, caterings, and serving processes Effective knife skills with attention to detail in food prep tasks Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards Strong teamwork ethic with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities Qualifications are not required but preferred as we will train on the job.

Pay:

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
