Job Description
Line Cook Latin American RestaurantWe re looking for passionate, fast-paced Line Cooks to join our kitchen team at Bilia Eatery a vibrant, Latin American restaurant celebrating the bold flavors of Latin America. If you love working with fresh ingredients, traditional techniques, and high-volume service while maintaining quality and consistency, we want to hear from you.
What You ll
Execute stations efficiently during service (grill, saut , fryer, expo, etc.) while maintaining proper timing, temperature, and presentation standards.
Perform daily mise en place and prep work using fresh, high-quality ingredients no shortcuts, no Sysco pre-prepped products.
Follow authentic recipes while contributing ideas for specials and seasonal menu updates.
Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization in line with health department standards.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
Handle proteins, knife work, sauces, and garnishes with precision and care.
What We re
Passion for Latin American flavors, ingredients, and techniques (mole, sofrito, chimichurri, adobo, etc.).Ability to thrive under pressure during dinner rushes while staying organized and positive.
Team player with a strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
Food Handler s certification (or willingness to obtain one).
What You ll
Do:
Prepare and cook a variety of Latin American dishes from scratch, including grilled meats, seafood, handmade tortillas/sauces, rice & bean preparations, ceviches, stews, and plant-based specialties.Execute stations efficiently during service (grill, saut , fryer, expo, etc.) while maintaining proper timing, temperature, and presentation standards.

What We re
Looking For:
1 3+ years of line cook experience in a high-volume restaurant (Latin American, Mexican, Caribbean, or Spanish cuisine preferred but not required).Strong knife skills, grill/saut experience, and a solid understanding of food safety and sanitation.Passion for Latin American flavors, ingredients, and techniques (mole, sofrito, chimichurri, adobo, etc.).Ability to thrive under pressure during dinner rushes while staying organized and positive.
Team player with a strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
Food Handler s certification (or willingness to obtain one).
