Line Cook Sibling Revelry Kitchen Rocky River, OH 44116 Part-time Part-time Sibling Revelry was founded by a family of brothers and cousins from Cleveland who wanted to share their passion for great beer with others. Noticing a lack of breweries in the west side suburbs, the relatives set out to create a unique taproom and drinking experience rooted right in their own backyards. Today, we're expanding our business by adding a kitchen and full menu. SRB is seeking a Line Cook to support the Head Chef in executing a quality dining experience from a new full menu. Essential Functions Set up and stock workstations with appropriate supplies/tools. Assist with stocking incoming inventory. Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces). Cook menu items in cooperation with Head Chef and other kitchen employees. Clean up station and appropriately manage leftover food. Manage timing of food preparation to ensure food comes out simultaneously always paying close attention to quality. Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers. Comply with nutrition, sanitation, and safety standards and regulations always ensuring that food is received, stored, and prepared according to standards. Assist with the transportation and storage of food and supplies. May be involved in the planning, organization, and implementation of special events, specific projects, or program changes. Employee may be asked to complete related duties other than those indicated above as assigned by their supervisor. Qualifications Must be able to appropriately interact with guests. Must be able to work flexible hours as need including evenings and weekends. Ability to take and pass a background check. Performance Requirements Possession of creative flair, conceptual/visual ability, and originality. Self-driven, self-motivated, results-oriented, positive attitude, and confident. Able to interact collaboratively, communicate, and present ideas. Able to meet deadlines and work well under pressure. Able to organize and manage multiple projects/tasks in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Able to work independently or in a team. Must maintain regular and reliable attendance to the satisfaction of management. Must be able to operate a computer and other position related technologies. Must be able to clearly and confidentially communicate with Sibling Revelry employees, clients, and other stakeholders. Must adhere to all Sibling Revelry Values at all times. Physical Requirements Must be able to visually read written and digital information. Must be able to visually determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned and/or to make general observations of facilities or structures. Must be able to dictate with co-workers, supervisors, and stakeholders using all means of communication including but not limited to, in-person, phone, and computer.
