We're a small, independently owned hotel and cafe located on beautiful Orcas Island in northern Washington. Our historic 1904 property features warm, antiques-filled rooms with harbor views, alongside a welcoming cafe and seafood bistro. We pride ourselves on creating a genuine hospitality experience for our guests and a supportive environment for our team.

The Role:

You'll be responsible for preparing quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment, working alongside a friendly team that values collaboration over hierarchy.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Preparing and cooking menu items with attention to quality and consistencyMaintaining station organization and cleanliness throughout serviceFollowing recipes and plating standards while contributing creative ideasCommunicating effectively with your kitchen team and front-of-house staffSupporting inventory management and food safety practices

What We Offer:

Competitive pay starting at $18 with tip share. Average hourly payout in the low season is $25. High season wages see a significant bump. We also offer the unique benefit of subsidized housing available on Orcas Island perfect for seasonal or year-round staff looking to be part of our community.
