Job Description

About the Opportunity We are seeking experienced and dependable Line Cooks to join a high-volume Italian dining concept located within a destination-style resort environment in Terra Alta, West Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity for culinary professionals who thrive in structured kitchens, take pride in consistency and execution, and enjoy working in hospitality-driven environments. This is not an entry-level kitchen role. We are looking for cooks who can step into service confidently, contribute immediately, and perform at a high level during busy dinner operations.
Compensation Competitive hourly pay:
$18-22/hour , based on experience and station strength Growth opportunities within a hospitality-focused operation Team-oriented kitchen environment Key Responsibilities Execute high-quality food preparation and line cooking during service Work stations including grill, sauté, pasta, expo, and prep as needed Maintain consistency, organization, and urgency during high-volume shifts Follow recipes, plating standards, and kitchen procedures accurately Assist with prep production, station setup, and closing duties Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards at all times Support teamwork and communication across kitchen operations Contribute to a professional and efficient service environment Ideal Candidate Background 2+ years of line cook experience in: Scratch kitchens Italian restaurants Steakhouses Resorts or hotels Upscale casual or polished casual dining concepts Experience with: Grill and sauté stations Pasta preparation Wood-fired cooking preferred High-volume dinner service Multi-station execution Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment Team-oriented with a positive attitude under pressure Reliable transportation and strong attendance are essential due to the location What We're Looking For Cooks who can contribute with minimal hand-holding Individuals who take pride in consistency and execution Hospitality-minded professionals who work well within a structured kitchen Candidates who value teamwork, urgency, and accountability Preferred Experience Italian cuisine Scratch cooking environments Resort or hospitality-driven operations Prep and line versatility Independent restaurants, breweries, hotels, country clubs, or polished casual concepts This is a strong opportunity for experienced culinary professionals seeking stability, a supportive team environment, and the chance to work within a growing destination-style hospitality operation.
