Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent knife skills, and experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role involves preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained to deliver high-quality meals to our guests. Previous experience in restaurant, catering, or food service settings is highly valued. The successful candidate will contribute to menu execution and support the overall efficiency of our kitchen operations. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assist with meal preparation according to menu specifications Cook dishes with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment Assist with menu planning and portion control to optimize food costs and presentation Handle food with care, adhering to proper food handling procedures Support catering events and special functions as needed Maintain organized workstations and ensure all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and stored Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours Requirements West Virginia Food Handlers Certification Previous experience in food industry roles such as restaurant kitchen preferred Strong culinary skills including knife proficiency and meal preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Experience with menu planning, food service, and catering is a plus Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Join our team if you are passionate about culinary arts and eager to contribute your skills in a dynamic kitchen setting.
