This role is essential in delivering exceptional dining experiences through the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in culinary skills, food safety practices, and a commitment to maintaining the standards of our fine dining establishment. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Cleaning and putting restaurant in nice condition. Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for seasonal offerings. Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are strictly followed to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Maintain inventory of food supplies, assist with ordering as needed, and minimize waste through efficient prep work. Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives, grills, fryers, and ovens. Participate in catering events as required, ensuring high-quality food service for off-site functions. Uphold the restaurant's standards for presentation, taste, and quality in every dish served. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred. Proficiency in culinary techniques including knife skills and food preparation methods. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Experience with menu planning and catering services is a plus. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
