Line Tender

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Tender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling components and products with precision and efficiency, ensuring that all assembly processes meet quality standards. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work collaboratively within an assembly line setting. Responsibilities Review Bill of Material (BOM) and Line Summary before each run and complete the whiteboard with required operational efficiency information. Ensure the line meets or exceeds efficiency requirements Perform accurate and timely setup/changeover of lines per the production schedule Ensure all components are properly packaged and marked with the correct part number Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to optimize workflow and productivity Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with company standards Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times Notify the Supervisor of any issues affecting quality and efficiency, and correct issues as directed Complete and administer all documentation accurately and promptly Ensure that setups and required maintenance are complete for the transition to the subsequent shift, as directed Perform all duties as required in the Stay Safe Injury and Illness Prevention Program Perform other job-related duties as assigned Experience One year experience with machinery operations and proficiency with mechanical tools and equipment Previous experience in a factory, warehouse, or manufacturing facility is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand assembly processes and techniques. Experience working on an assembly line is a plus, showcasing the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Physical Requirements Must be comfortable standing, bending, lifting, and walking without restriction repeatedly throughout a shift Must be able to lift 35 - 45 lbs.
