Litigation Associate

Responsibilities The successful candidate will independently handle all phases of litigation, including: Drafting and responding to written discovery Taking and defending depositions Preparing, drafting, and arguing motions Participating in court conferences and oral arguments Managing case strategy and day-to-day litigation responsibilities Communicating effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court Collaborating with partners and litigation teams on complex matters Why KD? Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of defense litigation experience Admitted to practice in New York Superior academic credentials from an accredited law school Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Compensation Base Salary Range:

$135,000 - $160,000 Please note that the stated salary range is an estimate and does not guarantee a specific offer. Actual compensation will be determined based on market location, as well as the candidate's experience, skills, and job-related qualifications. Base salary represents just one component of the comprehensive Total Rewards package offered by Kaufman Dolowich, which also includes a discretionary and billable hours-based bonus program and a robust benefits offering for full-time employees.
