Litigation Paralegal

Description We are looking for a Litigation Paralegal to support a personal injury practice in Scottsdale, Arizona. This contract opportunity is best suited for someone who can step into both pre-litigation and litigation work with confidence and provide reliable support to an assigned attorney.

Responsibilities:

• Manage personal injury matters across pre-suit and active litigation stages, ensuring deadlines, filings, and case progress remain on track.
• Draft, organize, and maintain legal documents such as pleadings, discovery materials, correspondence, and case summaries with close attention to detail.
• Coordinate discovery activities by gathering records, preparing responses, tracking outstanding items, and supporting document production.
• Assist with trial and hearing preparation by assembling exhibits, organizing case files, preparing binders, and helping attorneys stay ready for upcoming proceedings.
• Use case management software, including Filevine, to keep records current, monitor workflow, and maintain accurate case documentation.
• Work directly with an attorney in a one-to-one support structure, helping manage daily litigation needs and shifting priorities effectively. Requirements
• 3-5 years of paralegal experience, preferably in personal injury matters.
• Working knowledge of both pre-litigation case handling and civil litigation procedures.
• Experience supporting discovery, document organization, and trial preparation activities.
• Proficiency with case management platforms, including Filevine or similar legal software.
• Ability to work primarily onsite in Scottsdale, Arizona, with flexibility to operate in a fast-paced legal environment.
• Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple case deadlines with accuracy.
