Live Event A/V Technician

Looking for event technicians familiar with live and corporate A/V. Technicians will need to be able to set up and operate mixing consoles, powered speakers, wireless microphones, projectors, projection screens, video switchers, cameras, and ideally will have some knowledge of livestreaming events/meetings. We can train on some equipment, but we'd prefer if you have experience in the live event/corporate A/V realm. Experience with streaming is a huge plus. The job consists of lots of time driving company trucks and a good amount of physical labor is involved in loading/unloading and setup/breakdown as well. Being able to lift heavy equipment and bring it up or down stairs is a necessity. We're currently looking for candidates interested in working on a freelance/seasonal basis. We tend to be extremely busy between the months of September through December, and then from May through June. During the busy months you can expect to work generally between 30 and 60 hours depending on that weeks workload, but work is consistent during these time frames. The schedule during the busy months can consist of early mornings, late nights and very frequent work on the weekends. Some work will require delivering, setting up and breaking down equipment on site at different venues around the hudson valley. Other times you will need to operate as technician on site. These events require delivery/setup/run of show as either Audio Technician, Video Technician, PTZ Camera Operator, or Streaming Technician. We service venues within a 1.5 hour driving distance from our office in Modena, NY. We offer 4 hour minimums at 30$/hr for competent technicians to set up or break down events. Technician on site rate will start at 40$/hr, but there is room for higher hourly wages for competent technicians. Thank you for looking.
