Local Driver

Duties and Responsibilities:

Pick up and drop off orders in Laredo. Check product quality before loading and delivering to clients. Verify that the correct order is loaded by checking bill of ladings. Unload and set up displays or help organize the products in stores/restaurants. Check that all paperwork provided is correct. Advice the sales rep/accounting when orders have changed or items have been returned so invoices are made correctly. Help cover shifts for other drivers that are out due to vacation or time off.

Expectations:

CDL A license required. 2 years of CDL driving experience required. Show up to work ready, prepared and on time. Work as a team and provide excellent customer service. Follow all DOT regulations and laws. Take all precautionary measures when driving and wear your seatbelt. Leave your truck clean at the end of each work day. Verify that the proper insurance and registration is in the truck. Perform daily vehicle inspections and inform the mechanic shop department of any needed repairs. Report any type of accident or incident. No Smoking in vehicle provided by the company.
