Minimum Requirements:

Valid CDL-A with two years of licensed experience. Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents in the past three years. Meet the physical requirements to operate commercial motor vehicles, including the ability to lift and move heavy objects, climb in and out of the cab, and perform physically demanding tasks. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with dispatchers, supervisors, customers, and other team members. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and the ability to conduct routine inspections and basic repairs as needed. Commitment to safety protocols and compliance with all applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

Job Duties:

Safely operate commercial motor vehicles according to company policies and applicable laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safe operation. Follow designated schedules to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods to their destinations. Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while operating the vehicle, maintaining a high level of alertness and safety awareness at all times. Monitor and maintain accurate records and other necessary documentation related to vehicle operations and deliveries. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate deliveries, report any issues or delays, and ensure smooth operations. Provide exceptional customer service by professionally interacting with clients, handling inquiries or complaints, and representing the company in a positive manner. Maintain the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the vehicle, including regular cleaning and reporting any mechanical issues or malfunctions for prompt repairs. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, security, and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Attend training sessions and safety meetings as required by the company to enhance skills, knowledge, and adherence to safety protocols.
