Locum Hematology and Oncology Physician (MD/DO)

Job description We are seeking a dedicated Locum Physician (MD/DO) specializing in Hematology and Oncology to join our team in Friday Harbor, WA . This position offers a competitive rate of $450 per hour and involves providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic clinical setting. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and treat hematologic and oncologic conditions across diverse patient populations. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, including biopsies and laboratory results. Manage patient follow-up care, monitor treatment responses, and adjust therapies accordingly. Educate patients and families about disease processes, treatment options, and prognosis. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records. Ensure compliance with all safety, legal, and ethical standards. Skills & Qualifications Current MD or DO license in Washington State. Board certification or eligibility in Hematology and Oncology. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
