$25+ or DOEJob SummaryThe Logistics Coordinator provides essential support for inbound and outbound logistical operations. This role involves coordinating inventory management, warehousing, and transportation activities to optimize inventory levels and minimize costs. The Coordinator assists with various logistical functions, including sourcing, receiving, purchasing, and dispatching, while working under moderate supervision to ensure efficient supply chain operations.

Essential Job FunctionsCoordinate inventory management activities to maintain optimal stock levels Assist in organizing and tracking inbound and outbound shipments Support warehousing operations, including storage allocation and inventory tracking Help arrange transportation for goods, liaising with carriers and internal teams Process and maintain documentation for logistical operations Assist with sourcing and purchasing activities as needed Support the receiving process, ensuring accurate documentation and proper handling Help coordinate dispatching activities for outbound shipments Monitor inventory levels and assist in replenishment planning Generate reports on logistics activities and inventory status Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulationsOther duties as assigned.

Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent 1-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or related field Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel Basic understanding of inventory management and logistics processes Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsGood communication skills, both verbal and writtenPreferred QualificationsAssociate's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field Experience with logistics or warehouse management softwareKnowledge of transportation regulations and best practices Familiarity with purchasing processes and vendor management Work EnvironmentThis position is typically based in an office setting but may require occasional visits to warehouse or shipping areas. The role involves frequent computer use for data entry, report generation, and communication. Some physical activity may be required when visiting operational areas, including walking, standing, and potentially lifting light items. The Logistics Coordinator must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously, and adapting to changing priorities. Interaction with various departments, vendors, and carriers is common, requiring good interpersonal skills.
