Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Logistics Manager to lead and optimize our supply In this pivotal role, you will oversee the end-to-end management of logistics processes, including inventory control, warehouse distribution, transportation planning. Your expertise will drive efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery across all facets of our logistics network. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies to improve overall logistics performance. Manage steel inventory through effective demand planning, forecasting, Oversee warehouse operations including shipping and materials handling to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Coordinate transportation management activities such as freight forwarding, fleet management, dispatching, and shipping schedules using transportation management systems (Tekla) Utilize data analysis skills and supply chain analytics to identify process improvements, streamline workflows, and enhance operational efficiency. Collaborate with third-party logistics providers Manage warehouse management system as needed Ensure compliance with safety standards, packaging requirements, and materials handling protocols. Drive continuous improvement projects related to process optimization, cost reduction, and service quality enhancements. Requirements Proven experience in the heavy construction or Steel industry management with a strong understanding of logistics operations across multiple functions Demonstrated ability in inventory management, demand planning Strong knowledge of transportation management systems, fleet management, dispatching, and shipping & receiving procedures. Skilled in process improvement methodologies Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Valid forklift certification or relevant materials handling credentials preferred Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners. Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
