Technical Proficiency Full Job Description Regional Logistics and Dispatch Coordinator Job Description:

We're seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Logistics and Dispatch Coordinator. In this role, you'll be responsible for a wide range of duties, including dispatch coordination, driver communication, and day-to-day operations management.

Key Responsibilities:

Dispatch Coordination:

• Manage inbound and outbound dispatch activities.
• Monitor BNSF train schedules daily to ensure on-time train deramping.
• Provide drivers with release numbers for pickups and delivery schedules.
• Handle detention requests for driver payments, Lumpers, or other fees.
• Report any damage, shortages, or overages.
• Ensure drivers meet appointment times and address any issues promptly.
• Collaborate with mechanics to address delays and transloading needs.
• Manage truck breakdowns and arrange for necessary parts and services.

Driver Communication:

• Act as the primary point of contact for driver communication.
• Address driver concerns related to paychecks, trucks, hours, and workload.
• Provide guidance on navigating various challenges.
• Collaborate with dispatch, drivers and mechanics to resolve driver issues.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Assist with outbound load booking and tracking.
• Work closely with team members on safety concerns, tickets, and accidents.
• Coordinate with customers on inbound and outbound load information.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in logistics, dispatch, or operations coordination.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best practices is a plus.
• Bilingual Polish is a plus.

Salary:
