Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Reading Specialist and Handwriting Formation Tutor to work with a vibrant 5-year-old child. This paid position involves providing engaging, personalized instruction three times a week to foster early literacy skills and handwriting development. Duties Deliver targeted tutoring sessions focused on reading comprehension, phonics, and literacy development tailored to the child's individual needs Guide the child through handwriting exercises to develop proper hand formation, pencil grip, and writing skills suitable for their age Utilize diverse learning technology tools and educational resources to enhance lesson engagement and effectiveness Develop and implement customized lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards and curriculum best practices Incorporate language skills such as Mandarin, French, Japanese, or English as appropriate to support bilingual or multilingual learning environments Foster a positive learning atmosphere through classroom management techniques that encourage participation, curiosity, and confidence Track progress regularly, adjusting teaching strategies to ensure continuous growth in reading and handwriting abilities Skills Strong background in curriculum development and literacy education tailored for preschool-aged children Experience with classroom management and creating engaging lesson plans for young learners Proficiency in working with children, including those with special education needs or requiring additional support Knowledge of learning technology tools that support early childhood literacy and handwriting formation Fluency or basic knowledge of Mandarin, French, Japanese or English to support multilingual learning environments Excellent writing skills for creating clear instructional materials and progress reports Prior classroom experience in early childhood education or preschool settings is highly preferred Ability to foster a nurturing environment that promotes active learning, creativity, and social-emotional development Join us in making a meaningful impact on a child's educational journey!
