Responsibilities Conduct detailed patient evaluations, including medical history reviews and physical examinations, to accurately diagnose health issues. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating medication management, lifestyle counseling, and preventive care strategies. Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic or other EMR platforms to document patient interactions, update records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Perform specialized procedures relevant to your expertise, such as ultrasound imaging, blood tests, or minor outpatient interventions. Collaborate with specialists in areas like psychiatry, cardiology, endocrinology, or radiology to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Educate patients on disease management, medication use, and health coaching techniques to promote wellness and adherence. Participate in clinical research initiatives or quality improvement projects aimed at enhancing service delivery and patient outcomes. Experience DDS with valid licensure to practice medicine in the relevant jurisdiction. Proven experience in primary care or specialized fields such as endocrinology or family medicine. Familiarity with EMR systems like Epic or similar platforms for efficient documentation and patient management. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and current clinical guidelines across various specialties including diabetes care, reproductive endocrinology, or acute care settings. Experience performing diagnostic evaluations using medical imaging (CT scans), laboratory tests, and other diagnostic radiology tools. Prior inpatient or outpatient clinical experience demonstrating excellent patient service skills and the ability to handle complex cases confidently. Basic life support (BLS) certification is required; additional certifications in areas such as perioperative care or critical care are advantageous.
