Job Description

Overview We are looking for the right person to join our dynamic team as a Low Voltage Installer/Technician and become a vital part of delivering cutting-edge communication and security solutions.
WE ARE WILLLING TO TRAIN.
In this role, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining low voltage systems across various commercial and industrial sites. Your expertise will help ensure seamless network connectivity, security, and telecommunication systems that keep our clients connected and protected. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with the latest technology in a fast-paced, energetic environment where your skills make a real impact.
Responsibilities Installation:
Running and routing cables through walls, ceilings, and conduits, including Installing racks, trays, J-hooks, and supporting hardware.
Termination & Testing:
Terminating copper and fiber optic cables, patching, and testing systems to ensure connectivity and performance.
System Maintenance:
Troubleshooting low-voltage systems, including security cameras, access control, intercoms, and fire alarms.
Documentation:
Reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to map cable routes and documenting all work completed.
Customer Service:
Interfacing with clients, demonstrating system functionality, and troubleshooting on-site. Skills Proven experience as a service technician or installer specializing in low voltage systems and telecommunications Skilled in fiber splicing techniques with the ability to handle fiber optic cables safely and efficiently Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for system installation and troubleshooting Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters (for electrical testing), and equipment repair tools Knowledge of electrical codes such as NEC standards relevant to low voltage wiring projects Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments including but not limited to, data centers, schools, city offices, and police departments Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail to ensure high-quality work completion Join us in delivering innovative low voltage solutions that empower businesses through reliable connectivity! Pay:
From $24.00 per hour
