The Viola School District is seeking a caring, energetic, and student-centered Lower Elementary Teacher to join our team. This position is responsible for creating a positive classroom environment where young learners can grow academically, socially, and emotionally while building a strong foundation in literacy, mathematics, and essential life skills. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, a commitment to high expectations, and the ability to make learning engaging and meaningful. The successful candidate will plan and deliver developmentally appropriate instruction aligned to Arkansas state standards, use a variety of teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners, and monitor student progress through ongoing assessment. This teacher will foster strong relationships with students, families, and staff while maintaining effective classroom management and promoting a safe, welcoming learning environment. Applicants should demonstrate strong communication skills, collaboration with colleagues, and a willingness to participate in school improvement efforts and professional development opportunities. Experience with early literacy instruction, differentiated learning, and classroom technology is preferred. Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain appropriate Arkansas teaching licensure.
