Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team. Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding patients. Perform catheterization and manage infection control protocols. Document patient care and progress accurately in electronic health records (Epic). Provide support for patients with dementia and developmental disabilities. Engage in sterile processing of medical instruments as needed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients. Experience Previous experience in long-term care or geriatrics is preferred. Knowledge of anatomy and basic medical procedures is essential. Familiarity with infection control practices and sterile processing techniques is a plus. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is advantageous. Proficiency in using electronic health records systems, particularly Epic, is desirable.
